Boston Lofts for rent in The Back Bay
PHOTOS

When the building was converted into loft space the owner himself, an experienced contractor, performed the work, adding special touches to make the spaces a unique living experience. The brick walls were all re-pointed and are exposed on every wall, preserving the character of the original factory building. The hardwood floors were all refinished. The ceilings soar and the original beamed ceiling was sandblasted exposing the original timber of the building in certain units. Other units have enormous skylights which filter in the sun all day long.

All of the units offer a washer and dryer for your utmost convenience. The kitchens are all open to the living area with stainless steel breakfast bars and stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher and garbage disposal. The bathrooms are all of white tile and stainless steel fixtures and have a combination bathtub and shower. A few of the units also have an additional half bath.

The kitchens feature top of the line appliances and custom cabinetry. The countertops are formed of custom cut stainless steel. There are top quality lighting fixtures distributed throughtout the lofts.

Most of the loft spaces are large and completely open allowing the tenant to create and specialize the space according to their needs. Some people leave it all open for a more artsy and airy lifestyle and others section off the open space with unique screens, curtains or other creative dividers so as to keep living and sleeping space separate. There are a few units in the building that are duplexes, which naturally divides your open living space to one floor and your sleeping area to the other floor. These select units boast huge walk-in closets.

Several of Boston's best eateries are within a very quick walk including Grill 23, Laurel, Hammersley's, Garden of Eden, The Oak Room, The Palm, and The Deluxe(an underated bistro where the uber hip dine and wine!) Two great coffee places are right nearby. There is also a starbucks in the neighborhood.
