The builder (Rocco Antonelli Jr.) went to great lengths
to retain the original beauty of the building, while combining
it with the most modern conveniences! To the left of this
shot is the ultra chef's kitchen with a Jenn Air fridge,
Bosch Dishwasher and A Thermodor Professional Gas Stove
with Indoor Grill. The stainless steel range hood is correctly
vented to the outside of the building.
The view from this very private roof terrace is an outstanding
panorama of the Boston skyline including The Bunker Hill
Monument, The Zaikum Bridge, and all of the major buildings
in Boston! All Boston fireworks displays will be clearly
visible!
Where beams needed replacement, the wood
was carefully matched so that only the most trained eye
can detect the old from the new. Here we see the stairs
leading from the second level(which is getting a brand new
bathroom with a six foot Jacuzzi tub and a double head shower
stall!) to the third level. The design is a great example
of both open space and complete separation!
From this photo you can get the sense
of how high these ceilings really are. You also have a
view of the large front facing windows with the ornate
details that reflect the building historic past as a Universalist
Church.
